01What we build

Cook outside without running back to the house.

Some people want a grill with somewhere to set the platter down. Some want the whole setup: bar, fireplace, TV, lights. We build both, in stone that looks like it belongs on a New England property.

  • Stacked-stone grill island with a black granite top on a paver patio

    Grill islands

A built-in grill with landing space on both sides, storage drawers and room for a fridge. The one piece most outdoor kitchens start with.

  • Fieldstone outdoor bar with a granite top and two red stools

    Bars & seating

A raised counter so whoever's cooking can still talk to everyone. Stools on one side, the grill on the other.

  • Fieldstone outdoor fireplace with seat walls on a paver patio

    Outdoor fireplaces

Fieldstone fireplaces with granite hearths and seat walls. They keep the patio going into October and November.

  • Stacked-stone outdoor kitchen with lit drawers and a TV mounted above

    Covered porches & TV walls

Kitchens under a deck or porch roof, with a TV wall, lighting and outlets planned in from the start.

02Planned before it's built

The layout matters more than the grill.

A great outdoor kitchen is mostly decisions made before anything gets built: where the grill goes, where people sit, where the gas and power come from. Get those right and it gets used every weekend.

03Any size, any budget

Start with a grill island. Grow it from there.

You don't have to build the whole outdoor room at once. We'll design the full plan, build the part that fits your budget now, and leave room and gas lines for the rest.

Questions

What people ask before an outdoor kitchen.

Something else on your mind? Call 617-686-0468.

How much does an outdoor kitchen cost?

It depends on the size, the stone, the appliances and what it takes to run gas and power. A single grill island costs far less than a full kitchen with a bar and fireplace. We give free on-site estimates with a written price, and can build in phases.

Do you supply the grill and appliances?

We can build around appliances you've already picked out, or help you choose. Either way we size the island to the actual grill and drawers so everything fits.

Can you run the gas line and electric?

Yes. We plan gas and electric with the layout so lines go in before the patio and island are built, and coordinate the licensed trades that hook them up.

Will it hold up to a Massachusetts winter?

Yes, when it's built right: a solid block core on a proper base, stone or veneer facing, granite tops and outdoor-rated stainless. Covers for the grill and a little care in the fall help too.

Can you add a kitchen to my existing patio?

Often, yes. It depends on the patio's base and where gas and power can come from. We'll look at it on the site visit and tell you straight.

Fieldstone or stacked stone?

Fieldstone has the rounded, classic New England look. Stacked stone veneer is cleaner and more linear. We'll show you finished jobs in both and bring samples to the site.
