50-foot no-build zone
No structures within 50 feet, and structures explicitly include patios, stone walls, terraces, steps, fences, pools and sheds.

Exterior changes visible from a public way in the Manchester Historic District need a Certificate of Appropriateness. At-grade walks and driveways are exempt. The guidelines favor narrow pickets and don't allow plastic fences visible from the street.
